The BC Mental Health Act Education – Pediatric Focus module provides an overview of the BC Mental Health Act with guidance on how to adapt language, expectations and procedures to meet the needs of children and youth, and their families. The module follows a patient pathway that highlights patient and family-centred care alongside the required Mental Health Act forms.

Clinical staff, directors and physicians who provide care to patients under the Mental Health Act are required to complete approved Mental Health Act training. For compliance and tracking purposes, please complete the module on the Learning Hub. This  version will provide a certificate of completion and is CME accredited.
